glass fiber reinforced plastic (GRP): the compound material GRP, also referred as glass fiber reinforced plastic, is a high quality fiber-plastic-compound which has been produced in 1935 in the USA for the first time. GRP is characterized by it´s little weight combined with highest stability. In 1957 a complete airplane has been made of glass fiber reinforced plastic. Today GRP is used in the field of ship building (hull) as well as in the manufacturing of wind energy plants (airfoils).
EMSFIBER GRP-poles are free of corrosion and weather-resistant even in an aggressive environment as well as UV-resistant and fadeless. By the excellent insulation of GRP EMSFIBER poles are electrical nonconducting and radar permeable.
EMSFIBER is producing solid-coloured poles which are long-lasting, resistant against high wind loads and due to this self-financing and service-reduces. The poles are certified and fulfill the requirements of the standard EN 40-7.
